Advocacy group People Not Politicians has until mid-December to collect more than 100,000 signatures across six of Missouri’s eight congressional districts. The lawsuit may help decide whether 90,000 collected in September and early October are valid. -
Attorneys for the plaintiffs said the Missouri Constitution is clear that redistricting can only be done after a certified census, while the defense said nothing prohibits mid-decade redistricting. -
The Audrain County Shelter and Resource Coalition executive director said it costs $30,000 to run the shelter each winter. -
